Finding a Sovereign

During the lockdown of 2020 Eric wrote his first novel, Finding a Sovereign, available in paperback from Amazon, Waterstones, Foyles,The Book Depository, etc., and from Eric himself (signed).

This was not Eric’s first foray into writing, having published three small books for a national youth organisation some years ago on Teaching Drama, Teaching skills for non-teachers, and Conducting Worship for teenagers.

He also contributed to books for the anti-bullying charity, Kidscape, on responding to and preventing bullying in schools. (Tackling Bullying, Longmans Press) .

Finding a Sovereign, however, is his first novel.

I found it an uplifting story about a poor boy whose poor beginnings were overcome by his good nature and honesty, with help from a wonderful woman who taught him to read.
